The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure the technically error free and optimized provision of the operator’s services. 5. Social media

Sharing content in social networks via the WordPress plug-in Shariff

The contents on our pages can be shared in social networks such as Facebook, Twitter or Google+ in compliance with data protection. For this purpose, this site uses the WordPress plug-in „Shariff“. This tool does not establish any direct contact between networks and users until the user actively clicks one of the buttons. The tool does not automatically transmit any user data to the operators of these platforms.

If the user is logged into one of the social networks, an information window appears when using the social buttons of Facebook, Google+, Twitter, etc. In that window, the user can confirm the text before submitting. Our users can share the contents of this site on social media platforms in line with data protection laws and without a complete personal surfing profile being created by the network operators. Further information are available on this page about the plugin. More information about the Shariff project can be obtained from the developers at the magazine c’t: www.ct.de.
